This exciting initiative is in partnership with Leap to Success and Goodwill. Its goals are to support clients rebuild their self-esteem and take that established confidence into job interviews and other vocational trainings. Please note: Survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking, elder abuse, or family violence, as well as clients of any community partner, are welcome to attend this event, regardless of whether they are current clients of YSP. April 2024 - Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month
- April 26, 2024, 9 AM - 10 AM: Join us at YSP for a special watercolor workshop hosted by OUR Arts Foundation, in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. Designed specifically for YSP clients, clients of community partners, and anyone who is a survivor of violence, this session offers a unique opportunity to explore the therapeutic aspects of painting in a supportive and creative environment. We are committed to providing a comfortable and accessible experience, offering free parking and childcare services for all participants. - July 17, 2024, 3 PM to 5 PM: YSP is excited to host our Annual Backpack Giveaway. Join us for a fun-filled event featuring free backpacks and school supplies, engaging story time sessions, exciting entertainment, delicious snacks, and fun games! This event is for YSP clients, and registration is required. Please RSVP to infoysp@sandiego.gov with the number of children attending and their gender and ages.
