February 2022 - Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month

  • 2/4/22, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm:  Come learn how the PDF icon Psychiatric Emergency Response Team (PERT) can be a resource to assist with clients in crisis.
  • 2/8/22, 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm:  PDF icon Preventing Teen Dating Violence in Schools Virtual Training. This free training is intended for school administrators, teachers, counselors, social workers, nurses, ASB advisors, and coaches.   • 2/17/22, 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm:  Welcome teens!  Join us as we dialogue and share ways in which we can grow and sustain PDF icon Healthy Relationships in our lives.

  • 5/13/22, 8:00 am - 10:00 am: GVRO Press Conference: On May 13th, Assemblyman Brian Maienschein and City Attorney Mara Elliott hosted a press conference in support of AB 2137. This bill would require Family Justice Centers to provide clients with  educational materials relating to gun violence restraining orders, domestic violence restraining orders, and other legal avenues of protection for victims and their families, if appropriate.
