The Storefront Improvement Program (SIP) provides design assistance and reimbursement to small business owners who wish to make a creative change to their storefronts. Businesses must have less than 25 employees and the storefront must face onto a public street or right of way. Awards are for $8,000. Additional money is available for historic renovation, or multi-tenant buildings. Apartments and national franchises are not eligible.
