O'Farrell is situated in the middle of Council District 4 where Bay Terraces is on the South East side, Encanto on the North side, Emerald Hills and Valencia Park on the West side and Alta Vista on the South side. Schools in O'Farrell include O'Farrell Charter School and Nye Elementary School. The beloved George L. Stevens Senior Center also lies within the O'Farrell community.
