Chollas View is situated in the north-central portion of Southeastern San Diego. The neighborhood derived its name from the abundance of the cholla cactus that covered the land. It is bounded by State Highway 94, on the south by the San Diego Arizona Eastern Railroad tracks, on the east by Euclid Avenue, and the west by Interstate 805.
