Customers should make appointments to make payments in person. However, customers may drop checks, cashier checks and money order payments into the drop-off safe located on the first-floor lobby during business hours. All payments must be made out to the “City Treasurer.”
Customers can make appointments to view building plans or records and receive assistance at the Digital Permit Application Assistance Counters. Schedule an appointment.

Call 858-581-7111 to schedule, cancel or listen to the results of an inspection or ask general questions about inspections or report problems with scheduling inspections online. Customers can schedule inspection appointments online, or to schedule an appointment with an inspector, use the Staff Directory. Appointments are highly recommended.
