401 West A Street, originally named 'Columbia Centre', is now known as '1 Columbia Place'. It is a 27-story iconic landmark noted for its distinctive glass facade, stair-step design and high-flying American flag. Completed in 1982 by developer Doug Manchester, the building has received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification and is designated an Energy Star building.
