Sculpture and plaque commemorating the historic Guglielmetti Dairy site in Mission Valley where the stadium was built in 1967 at Friar's Road and Murphy Canyon. The first dairy was started in the 1880s and by the 1950s, dairy goods were the third-largest agricultural product in the county. 20 dairies dotted Mission Valley. When the City rezoned it for new development in the 1950s, many dairy farmers chose to take advantage of rising land values to sell out and move on. By 1965, only the Ferrari and Guglielmetti dairies remained.
