Urban Search and Rescue (US&R) 41 is a heavy rescue vehicle. It's a fully capable State certified "Type 1" US&R resource, the first in the Department's history and one of only three in the county.

US&R41 is a 2009 Pierce Arrow XT Heavy Duty Rescue vehicle with a 485 horsepower diesel engine. It weighs 70,800 pounds and has a large electrical generator on board to run multiple electrical tools. US&R41 has several hydraulic tool hose reels and a large air compressor to run air-powered tools, like jackhammers.
