Mark your calendars! Nov. 29, 2025, is Small Business Saturday, a time to support the small, independent businesses that form the heartbeat of our neighborhoods! Take a look at the list below to see the events happening in your community and use the hashtag #ShopSmallSanDiego on social media to share more events for this exciting day!  

Barrio Logan

The nonprofit organization All for Logan is hosting Shop Logan Avenue: Cultura & Hustle from noon to 4 p.m. Shoppers can enjoy music, family and good energy in the Logan Avenue Small Business District. From Hayes Burgers (2060 Logan Ave) to Libélula Books (950 S 26th St) — explore food, drinks, art, culture and community on every block. Attendees who spend $25 or more at a Logan Avenue business can get a free tote bag featuring local art by showing a receipt at San Diego Vintage Co., located at 2185 Logan Ave. Purchases must be made at a Logan Avenue brick-and-mortar or one of our year-round street vendors. Hillcrest

Shop Hillcrest for the Holidays begins on Nov. 29 and runs through Dec. 24, 2025. Shoppers can fill out a raffle ticket at participating local businesses for a chance to win a shopping spree of gift cards from participating Hillcrest businesses. North Park

North Park’s Sip and Shop Small campaign is back! Shoppers who spend $10 or more in a partner small business can get a free coffee from participating coffee shops.  

Ocean Beach

Ocean Beach MainStreet Association will hold its Shop Small Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shoppers who spend $50 or more in Ocean Beach can stop by the OBMA Welcome Booth in Veterans Plaza Park (1900 Ocean Front Way) to spin the wheel for a chance to win local swag, gift cards and other prizes. Visitors are also encouraged to a take a photo with family and friends at the “I (heart) OB” photo booth, located next to the OBMA Welcome Booth.  

OBeachy Bingo will also launch on Shop Small Saturday. Shoppers can visit the OBMA Welcome Booth to pick up the OBeachy Bingo card and search for the flock of “OB Parrots” hidden in 96 participating businesses throughout Ocean Beach. Completed bingo cards must be turned in by December 20th for a chance to win even more prizes from the Ocean Beach MainStreet Association.
