Encanto Winter workshop Series is for children ages 6-12. Kids will participate in a variety of activities, including but not limited to arts and crafts, games, sports, and movies as they have fun in a safe environment. Closed-toe shoes are required. Lunch will NOT be provided. NO CAMP DECEMBER 24th & 25th.

History of the Center

Land for the Encanto Recreation Center was acquired by the City in 1940, and the facility was built in 1964. The senior center was added in 1966, and the fields were completed in 1986.

Directions and Bus Route

Map this location

From Interstate 805, go to Imperial Avenue and travel east to 65th Street. Turn left on 65th Street and proceed up the hill. The center is on the right.

The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS Routes 916/917 and the San Diego Trolley's Orange Line.
