What this means: we have identified a potential tree planting site in the City’s right-of-way that is in front or to the side of your private property. If you would like to opt-in for a free street tree, you can contact us through the webform on the Ready, Set, Grow San Diego website or by emailing us at trees@sandiego.gov.

• We're Planting Trees in Your Neighborhood Door Hanger

What this means: we have marked out tree planting location(s) and our certified arborist has determined an appropriate tree species for the location. Trees will be planted in a planting strip within the City’s right-of-way. If you have input or a preference on tree species, please contact us within 2 weeks of receiving the door hanger. You can contact us through the webform on the Ready, Set, Grow San Diego website or by emailing us at trees@sandiego.gov.
