Implementation Tracker

Climate Resilient SD is the City of San Diego's first climate adaptation and resilience plan, establishing clear actions that the City will take to create a safer, healthier and more equitable future. This progress report demonstrates the significant work undertaken by the City since Climate Resilient SD was adopted in December 2021 to address climate change-related risks, enhance community capacity to respond and recover, and build sustainable, thriving communities. Implementation of Climate Resilient SD is a true collaborative effort, requiring the coordination across many City departments to move strategies forward, as well as the collaboration and contributions of community-based organizations, nonprofit organizations, regional partners and community members like you!

Implementation updates are organized under the five goals of Climate Resilient SD: Maintain Critical City Services, Ensure Connected and Informed Communities, Build a Resilient and Equitable City, Protect Historic and Tribal Cultural Resources and Prioritize Thriving Natural Environments.
