Plans, coordinates, and supervises the work of skilled machinists, metal fabricators, and Fleet Technicians, including designing and manufacturing equipment, enforcing safety regulations, and estimating project costs. Requires six years of experience in journey-level work in relevant trades, including two years of supervisory experience, or completion of a State accredited apprenticeship program with two years of supervisory experience. Must have a valid California Class C Driver’s License.
