The City of San Diego’s Homelessness Response Center (HRC) provides a broad range of services to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness on their path to permanent or longer-term housing.

The San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) operates the HRC, in collaboration with the City of San Diego, People Assisting the Homeless (PATH), the Regional Task Force on Homelessness (RTFH), and various homelessness service providers.

Walk-ins welcome

Monday - Thursday: 7 - 11 a.m. and
8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Friday: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Saturday: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Sunday: CLOSED

  • DMV assistance, including transportation to and from the DMV
  • Youth and domestic violence services
  • Legal aid
  • Family reunification assistance
  • Veterans Affairs
  • Health services and education
  • Mental health and substance use treatment referrals
  • Employment programs
  • Coordinated Intake Processing
