Built on the tools and methodology of Lean Six Sigma, this program trains City employees on how to improve their work processes by eliminating waste, basing decisions on data, and delivering better value to their customers. OpEx Academy offers Champion (2-hour), Introductory (1-day) and Advanced (1-week) classes to employees, who are then encouraged to return to their workplaces and put their new tools to work making incremental process improvements.
