Directions and Bus Route
From State Route 54 East, take exit 4 for Woodman Street. Turn right on Alta View Drive, then left on Tooma Street. Enter the park on the left.
From State Route 54 West, take exit 5 for Briarwood Road. Then turn left on Briarwood Road. Turn left on Goode Street then left onto Tooma Street. Enter the park on the right.
The recreation center is accessible by bus via SDMTS route 961.

Facilities
The center has a standalone tot lot, multipurpose field, joint-use field, meeting room (capacity 268), kitchen, patio space and picnic shelter (6).
Paradise Hills/Penn Community Recreation Group
Paradise Hills/Penn Community Recreation Group is looking for new members. Membership is free and open to the public. The Community Recreation Group serves as an advisory group to the City of San Diego Parks and Recreation Department, and facilities include Paradise Hills Recreation Center, Penn Athletic Field, Bay Terraces Community and Senior Center, Bay Terraces Community Park and Zamorano Elementary Joint Use Field.
Meetings are held at 6 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at the Bay Terraces Community and Senior Center, 7445 Tooma Street.
