2024 Spring Camp

Spring Camp at Encanto Recreation Center is for children ages 6-12 years old. Kids will participate in a variety of activities, arts and crafts, games, and sports as they have fun in a safe environment. Children must bring lunch and snack. Kids must wear closed toed shoes.
Hours/Fees/Activity Codes:
  Regular Care: 8:00am - 4:00pm / $50 / (#112226)
  Extended Care: 4:00pm - 5:00pm / $20 / (#112227) (Register Separately)

Youth Basketball Clinic

This Basketball skills clinic is designed for any and all who are interested in the game of basketball. This clinic will focus on but is not limited to shooting, passing and dribbling drills while also developing one's skills to the next level. The clinic brings youth together to make new friends and memories while getting better at basketball.
Ages: 5-12
Cost: $20 per person

History of the Center

Land for the Encanto Recreation Center was acquired by the City in 1940 and the facility was built in 1964.  The senior center was added in 1966 and the fields were completed in 1986.

From Interstate 805, go to Imperial Avenue and travel east to 65th Street. Turn left on 65th Street and proceed up the hill. The center is on the right.

The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS Routes 916/917 and also the San Diego Trolley's Orange Line.
