What's Coming

Encanto Recreation Center opened May 3, 2021 at a limited capacity.

All participants must pre-register on SDRecConnect.com.

When participant arrives they will asked three questions and have their temperature taken, once this is done they will receive a wrist band and can participate in their program.

History of the Center

Land for the Encanto Recreation Center was acquired by the City in 1940 and the facility was built in 1964.  The senior center was added in 1966 and the fields were completed in 1986.

Directions and Bus Route

Map this location

From Interstate 805, go to Imperial Avenue and travel east to 65th Street. Turn left on 65th Street and proceed up the hill. The center is on the right.

The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS Routes 916/917 and also the San Diego Trolley's Orange Line.
