History of the Center

The center was dedicated in 1998 offering the community a large open space park with a gazebo that is very popular for special event rentals.

Directions and Bus Route

From Interstate 15 north, take the Ted Williams Parkway/Freeway exit and continue on the state Route 56 freeway (Ted Williams) west. Exit at Black Mountain Road. Turn right and proceed to Oviedo Street, and turn right. Go to the top of the hill. The recreation center is on the right.

From Interstate 15 south, take the Ted Williams Parkway/Freeway exit. Turn left at the stop light and proceed on to the state Route 56 freeway (Ted Williams) west. Exit at Black Mountain Road. Turn right and proceed to Oviedo Street, and turn right. Go to the top of the hill. The recreation center on the right.

The center is not accessible by bus.
