Pickleball
Ocean Beach Recreation Center is offering free Open Play Pickleball on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Mondays 10:00am - 2:00pm
Wednesdays 10:00am - 2:00pm
Fridays 11:00am - 2:00pm
Players are asked to bring their own equipment. Nets are provided. Hours subject to change and cancellation at any time. For more information, please call the recreation center at 619-531-1527.

The Ocean Beach Recreation Center offers Youth/Adult Self Defense classes, Kids Cooking and Baking Classes, Pee Wee Sports, Kids Art and Craft Classes, Youth Basketball Leagues, Youth Volleyball Leagues, as well as Adult Pottery/Sculpture Classes, Adult Coed Dodgeball Leagues, Adult Coed Kickball Leagues, Women’s Softball Leagues, & Men’s 16" Softball Leagues.
History of the Center
With dedication and grand opening 1946, the center is one of the oldest in the City.
Directions and Bus Route
From Interstate 8 west take the Sunset Cliffs Boulevard exit and turn left. Continue on Sunset Cliffs to Santa Monica Avenue and turn left. The center is on the left, across from the elementary school.
The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS Routes 35 and 923.

Facilities
Indoor and outdoor basketball courts, lighted softball field and passive parks. Ocean Beach Park and Bob Kenny Field. The following parks and athletic areas can be reserved by calling the center: Dana School Fields, Bill Cleator Fields, Plumosa Park Dusty Rhodes Park and Collier Park.
Ocean Beach Community Recreation Group
Meetings are held at 6 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every even month.
