If you are registering a child for an activity, please do not use the child's information when completing a New Account. Adding family members after successfully creating an account can be completed later.

The BookNook program is a "take a book, leave a book" gathering place at your favorite recreation center. Share your favorite literature and stories with others.
The land where the recreation center is located was acquired by the City on Sept. 3, 1946, and the center was built 1954. The Pacfic Beach Recreation Center was dedicated on March 6, 1975.
From Interstate 5 north take the Grand Avenue / Garnet Avenue exit. Turn left on Grand Avenue. Turn right on Gresham Street. Turn right on Diamond Street.
From Interstate 5 south take the Balboa Avenue / Garnet Avenue exit. Turn right on Garnet Avenue. Turn right on Gresham Street. Turn right on Diamond Street.
The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS Routes 8 / 9 and 27.
