The site center was built in 1989/1990. Before Penn Athletic Field was built, the land was undeveloped.
From Interstate 805, take the state Route 54 east. Take the Plaza Bonita Center Way/Reo Drive exit. Turn left and proceed to Parkside Avenue, then turn right. Travel approximately one mile to the second stop sign and turn left on Dusk Drive. Go up the hill and look for the parking lot on the right-hand side of the street.
The field is accessible by bus via SDMTS Routes 961 and 962.

Facilities
There is a large multipurpose field, a teen center, play areas, a kitchen, and an activity room with games, including ping-pong. The activity room and kitchen are available for rent. Call the center for details.
Paradise Hills/Penn Community Recreation Group
Penn Community Recreation Group is looking for new members. Membership is free and open to the public. The Community Recreation Group is an advisory group to the City of San Diego Parks and Recreation Department.
Meetings are held at 6 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at the Bay Terraces Community and Senior Center, 7445 Tooma Street.
