This program offers science enrichment programming for elementary aged children. Through unique, entertaining and educational hands-on science experiences, kids are encouraged to pursue STEM careers and scientific literacy.

The BookNook program is a "take a book, leave a book" gathering place at your favorite recreation center. Share your favorite literature and stories with others.
The center was built in 1969.
From Interstate 5, take state Route 54 east. Take the Woodman Street exit to Skyline Drve. Turn right on Skyline. The park is on the right.
The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS Routes 4, 11, 961 and 962.
