History of the Center

The center was dedicated in July 1978 and is located inside the Martin Luther King Elementary School grounds near the playground.


Directions and Bus Route

Map this location

From Interstate 15, take the Market Street exit and turn left. Make a left to 32nd Street. The recreation center is inside of the playground at the first stop sign.

The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS route 4 and 5, and the San Diego Trolley's Orange Line.
