Located on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way in the Broadway Heights neighborhood of the City of San Diego, the Promenade opened to the public on February 23^rd, 2019 to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King as well as provide a cultural gathering area for educational and community activities.  Take a cultural journey through history as you use your smartphone to navigate through a variety of interactive features while learning about iconic figures of the Civil Rights Movement and those continuing to make a difference today.
