Excellence in Procurement Award

The City of San Diego Purchasing & Contracting Department has been a recipient of the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award^® (AEP) from the National Procurement Institute for many years, including: 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2019. AEP Award winners demonstrate to their leadership, governing body, and the public that they exceed the highest standards in innovation, professionalism, productivity, e‐procurement, and leadership attributes.
