Roberto Marin is a Community Representative with San Diego City Council President Sean Elo-Rivera's Office. He represents Mt. Hope, Mt. View, Stockton, Bayridge, Fairmount Park, Hollywood Park, Rolando Park, Redwood Village, Swan Canyon, and Chollas Creek. Through his communities, he hopes to help residents organize and become very involved in local government. Increasing representation across community groups and teaching youth the importance of public service is also something he's passionate about.

Born in San Diego and raised in La Mesa by two Mexican immigrants, Roberto was raised in a household that valued integrity, honesty and compassion for others. His goal is to give those who have never had a say in government, a voice. He attended Cuyamaca College, in 2016, graduating in 2018. Shortly after, he transferred to California State University San Marcos in 2019, graduating in 2022 with a degree in Political Science with a minor in criminology. He also is a competitive cross country/track athlete. He still holds three records currently at Cuyamaca College from competing in track.

On his down-time, he likes to spend quality time with his partner, family and friends. He loves to run, hike, try new foodie locations and cook.
