Slainte and cead mile failte a hundred thousand welcomes to one of San Diegos most beloved traditions! The 44th Annual St. Patricks Day Parade & Festival is back and greener than ever. This years theme, Here, There, Irish Culture Everywhere!, celebrates the global spirit of the Irish from Dublin to San Diego and beyond.
Kick off your day with the lively parade through the heart of the city, featuring dazzling floats, marching bands, Irish dancers, bagpipers, and community groups decked out in their finest green. Keep your eyes peeled for local dignitaries and maybe even a mischievous leprechaun or two!
After the parade, the celebration continues at Balboa Park with a family-friendly festival. Enjoy toe-tapping live music, traditional Irish dance performances, and cultural exhibits that bring the Emerald Isle to life. Savor delicious food and of course, a pint of something perfectly Irish (for those over 21!).
Kids will love the play zone, craft booths, and storytelling sessions, while adults can relax, dance, and soak up the festive atmosphere.
Whether youre Irish by heritage or simply Irish for the day, come join the craic the fun, friendship, and magic that make this event truly unforgettable.
Parade starts at 10:30 AM, Festival 9am-6 PM. *BALBOA PARK. BETWEEN 6TH AVE AND BALBOA DR.
Admission: $10 for ages 21 and older. Ages 20 and younger and active military with ID are free.
