The Crystal Pier Outrigger Canoe Race is a Southern California Outrigger Racing Association Race, hosted by Hanohano Canoe Club in San Diego, CA. The race is usually held at Crown Point within Mission Bay in San Diego, CA. Typically, the event draws 1500+ participants annually who battle in a 5 mile novice and kid’s race, 10 mile men, women and coed races in six person outrigger canoes.
Location: The race itself will occur on the water. The beach-side set up will be throughout Crown Point Beach Park with participants bringing their own beach gear and coming and going throughout the day depending on their race times.
