The Girls on the Run San Diego 5K will be held at Crown Point Park on May 15, 2022. This family friendly run is open to all levels and is not timed. Join us from 8-8:30am for fun pre-run activities. Opening Ceremony will be held at 8:40 with then first wave going out at 9:00am.
Location: We will use Crown Point Park (north end near basketball courts) to check in runners and volunteers. We will use grassy area for pre-run activities and pre-run opening ceremony. We will set up a water stop at Crown Point Park (south end, near restrooms). Start/finish will be at north end near basketball courts. Runners will start on Bayside Path (head north) and exit Crown Point Park on to Crown Point Drive, run in northbound lane, re-enter Crown Point Park on Corona Oriente to Moorland Drive. At Moorland, runners will connect to Bayside Path, run approx .5 mile past Ingraham St bridge and then turnaround (will then stay on path; will not go back out on road).
