HBO's Lanterns Consumer Experience at SDCC
Lanterns Training Headquarters
Lanterns Training Headquarters is a ticketed, walk-through immersive experience promoting HBO Maxs series Lanterns. Staged inside a themed facility designed to look like the fictional small town of Rushville, Nebraska, the experience invites guests cast as trainees recruited by the Guardians of the Universe to move in small groups through a guided sequence of short, theatrical challenge rooms led by costumed staff, culminating in a finale moment and a celebratory lounge.
Guests reserve a timed entry slot in advance through the reservation platform. Each 30-minute session admits approximately 32 guests, who are divided upon arrival into four groups of eight. A guests full visit from the start of the briefing through the celebration lounge runs approximately 30 minutes. Throughout the experience, guests are escorted at all times by trained staff (Recruiters and Brand Ambassadors) who set the pace, deliver instructions, and manage safety.
