If you’re on a mission to join the San Diego Police Department, our Candidate Assistance Mentoring Program (CAMP) was made for you. The exhilarating program will introduce you to the tools you need to succeed, including a brief introduction to CAMP, our hiring process and background investigators.

Advance through the candidate screening and excel in our police academy by participating in workouts with recruiters and fellow applicants. This is your opportunity to demonstrate initiative, experience and your ability to work as a team playter to help others succeed.

What to Expect:

• To learn military close-order drills and movements
• Recruiters onsite offering guidance, direction and counseling through the hiring process
• Workouts designed to prepare you for the physical and mental rigors of the police academy
