Our Memorial Day Ceremony will be on Monday, May 25th, 2026 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. (PDT)
Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial is one of the most unique veterans' memorials in the Nation and stands high on La Jolla's, Mt. Soledad, offering panoramic views of San Diego County. It is the only memorial that honors veterans, living or deceased, from the Revolutionary War to the current war on terrorism, with an image of the veteran. Close to 6,000 individual veteran tributes, embedded on black granite plaques, are mounted onto the curved walls honoring our United States veterans.
The Memorial Day Ceremony at Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial is a solemn and meaningful tribute honoring the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Set against one of San Diegos most iconic landmarks, the ceremony brings together veterans, military families, and community members to remember, reflect, and give thanks. Through words of remembrance, music, and tradition, we honor their legacy and ensure that their service and sacrifice are never forgotten.
