We are planning the 2025 Mira Mesa Independence Day Celebration. There will be fireworks set off from the fields by Wangenheim Middle School at 9:00 PM on July 3rd, 2025. There will be a community picnic from 4 PM to 9:30 PM at Hourglass Field Community Park leading up to the fireworks. There will be food trucks including Birria tacos, Pulled pork sliders, Lumpia, Boba tea, coffee, smoothies and flavored shaved ice. There will be a car show in the parking lot on the north side of the field starting at 4:00 PM.
