Workshop Description:
Starting a nonprofit is more than simply filing papers there are lots of items to accomplish in the first two years to ensure you are legally compliant, effective at programming, and able to manage the various aspects of your organization. Whether you plan to serve your local community or the entire world, there are best practices that all nonprofits must follow in order to make an impact. This workshop will cover the various practices nonprofit start-ups should implement within the first two years of incorporation to increase their chances of having an impactful program, effective management, and good governance.
This workshop is aimed at individuals in a startup or small emerging nonprofit. Interested individuals must register to attend. Workshops are free.
