This program was created to provide an uninterruptible supply of water for manufacturing and R&D firms. Certified water customers are exempted from mandatory water conservation measures in the event of a drought situation and must use reclaimed water to the extent possible in their processes. Successful applicants may also receive discounted monthly rates for reclaimed water usage (.80/HCF) and a possible one-time cost savings on water capacity charges.
