June 6, 2006 Municipal Primary Election

This election will be held in Districts 2, 4, 6 and 8. City Councilmembers are elected by their district and may be elected in the Primary Election on June 6, 2006 if they receive a majority of votes cast. If no candidate receives a majority of votes in the Primary Election, the names of the two candidates who receive the highest number of votes will appear on the ballot at the General Municipal Election on November 7, 2006. The statements of qualification included here were submitted by the candidates and are the same statements that appear in the sample ballot pamphlet.
