Got kids that love to help out in the kitchen? Our cooking class teaches children the fundamentals of cooking safely and healthily! With supervision from staff, children have the opportunity to learn how to make some of their favorite “kid approved” dishes from pizza, to homemade ice-cream!

Paradise Hills Recreation Center offers a variety of youth and adult programs throughout the year. See more in our Program Guide.
The site was first acquired in 1961 and the center was built in 1974. It was dedicated on March 6, 1975, and since then has served approximately 10,000 community members every year.
From Interstate 805, take state Route 54 east. Take the Woodman Street exit. Turn left and proceed to Alta View Drive, then turn left. Follow Alta View to Potomac Street and turn right. The recreation center on the west side of the street.
The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS Routes 961 and 962.
