Kids Night Out!

Parents- need a night out? We've got a fun evening planned for your children so you can have some time to yourself. Our staff will provide games, crafts, dinner and more. This event will only have a maximum of 18 registrants to ensure safety and fun. We're certified in CPR, First Aid and FUN!

Little Chill Zone

Come and Chill, out of the heat. Soft music, coloring pages, and sensory indoor play. Parent or Adult supervision required at all Times!  “Our priority is a safe environment. If hitting or biting occurs, the child may be asked to leave class early, to ensure everyone’s safety.” Direct supervision is not provided. Recreation Staff will monitor room.  Register early, space is limited.
Days: Mondays-Thursday
Time: 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Ages: 1-4

South Clairemont Soccer Club

A beginner class for kids looking to learn soccer and sharpen their skills. Come enhance your ability to dribble, pass, and score a goal! This class is perfect for anyone new to soccer or with limited experience playing.

Self-Defense: Judo

The sport of Judo is a Japanese Martial Art. This program focuses on self defense and staying fit by building awareness and coordination. This is a non-striking martial art and suitable for the whole family.
Ages: 5 years to adult
Days/Time: Wednesdays, 5:45 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. and Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Community Yoga

New Yoga class at South Clairemont Recreation Center. Whether you’re building strength, improving flexibility, or simply carving out time to reconnect, our offerings invite you to move with ease, focus, and confidence on and off the mat. Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, this collection emphasizes balance, alignment, and sustainable practice, helping you feel centered, strong, and fully present. Supplies are not provided.

From Interstate 5, take the Clairemont Drive exit (east) and proceed up the hill. The center is on the right-hand side.

From Genesee Avenue, take Balboa Avenue (west) to Clairemont Drive and turn left. The center is on the left.

The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS Routes 27, 50 and 105.
