Homes for All of Us is Mayor Gloria’s initiative aimed at producing more homes across the city that San Diegans at income levels all can afford. As part of Homes for All of Us, the Housing Action Package includes programs and initiatives to increase the production of homes. These programs and initiatives will help support a strong local economy by providing more homes that people can afford, allowing employers to attract and retain new workers. The City Council passed the first Housing Action Package in February 2022, and the Planning Department expects to bring forward a second Housing Action Package focused on allowing more homes for more people in all communities.
