Every time we choose to switch off office and home watt-wasters, such as lights burning in empty rooms, we do our part to promote greater conservation of resources and energy efficiency while putting our money to use on other things besides our electric bills.

Report Energy Waste at City Facilities
To reduce unnecessary use of energy in City facilities, we need your help. If you observe energy being used inappropriately at any city facility, please tell us about it at energy@sandiego.gov. To facilitate our review of the situation, please include:- Location of the facility
- Date and time of your observation, and
- Any other information you believe will help us take the appropriate action
