Answer a few questions about who you are, what you do, and what you want the City to support. We will point you toward the FY28 funding pathway that may be the best place to begin.

You do not need to have the whole funding system memorized. Just answer based on where your organization or project is right now.

Before you start...

Be honest! This works best when you choose the answer that really describes your organization or project, not the answer you think sounds the most fundable.

There is no “best” category. The FY28 pathways are not rankings. One category is not more important, prestigious, artistic, or valuable than another.

It is okay if more than one answer sounds like you. Arts organizations and creative projects are wonderfully complicated. If you land between categories, we will help you think it through.

We can help you move later. You will choose the pathway that feels like the best fit when you apply. Cultural Affairs will offer availability to review category placement. If another pathway appears to fit your work better, our team may work with you before panel review to move the application where it can be reviewed most fairly.
