Education and Career Pathways
Recognizing where disparities exist within San Diego’s learning community and then broadening access to all opportunities for San Diego’s youngest, is a priority for the Office of Child and Youth Success.
Education is the key to understanding the problems that lay ahead of us and understanding how to solve those problems. More importantly, education and learning deliver critical thinking skills needed to spring into action and make a change when there are difficulties in our lives and in the lives of those we care about. Research shows that education provides courage and confidence to speak up about injustices and assist with better decision-making capabilities.
