The Tierrasanta community lies northwest of the San Diego River and is referred to as "The Island in the Hills.”  

In 2023, Councilmember Campillo joined the Tierrasanta Kiwanis Club to march in the Patriot Day Parade. This marked another year of dedicated community members gathering to honor and celebrate their community!

• Tierrasanta Community Council and Planning Group: 3rd Wednesday of every month, 6:30 p.m. at the Tierrasanta Recreation Center, 11220 Clairemont Mesa Blvd., San Diego, CA 92124.
