Is there any way to find out who owns a property?
The County of San Diego Assessor's Office can provide information about any parcel of land located within the County of San Diego. Properties owned by the City of San Diego can be viewed on the Map of City-owned Land.

Can you refer me to a real estate broker, property manager, appraiser, escrow company or title company?
We do not have that type of information. You may want to consult an organization like the Better Business Bureau or the Greater San Diego Association of REALTORS®.

How do I go about getting or renewing a Real Estate License?
Contact the California Department of Real Estate at 619-525-4192 for any question related to obtaining or renewing a Real Estate License.

How do I find out if a property is currently for sale or lease?
The City Real Estate Opportunities page or the Successor Agency Dispositions page that may contain information about properties owned by the City of San Diego (or former redevelopment agency) that are currently for sale or lease. Local newspapers and many websites also advertise properties for sale or lease in the San Diego region.
