Career Advancement Pathways (Non-Competitive)

Some positions within the City of San Diego are designated as career advancement positions, offering eligible employees a structured pathway to advance to the next level without having to compete for the next-level position. To advance their careers under this option, employees must meet all eligibility requirements established by the Personnel Regulation referenced above.

Competitive Opportunities
