Come celebrate civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at his namesake park in the heart of Southeastern San Diego! This is a FREE family friendly event featuring a sportsfest, Ground-Up basketball showcase, local live entertainment, food, merchandise vendors and information booths. There will also be interactive areas featuring Arts & Culture, Health & Wellness, Education and Kids Zone! Before the festivities start we will have a neighborhood parade starting at Valencia Park Elementary School to MLK Park. Bring your family, friends to this wonderful community celebration.
