Community Representative

Joaquin Quintero serves as the community representative for the communities of La Jolla and University City in Council District 1. Before this position, he interned in the office of Mayor Todd Gloria, served as a union organizer for academic student unions, and worked as a tutor at UC San Diego. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science-data analytics, and history pre-law from UCSD. When not at work, he enjoys reading, and playing the flute and saxophone.
