PRINCIPAL PERFORMANCE AUDITOR

Chris Kime joined the Office of the City Auditor as a Performance Auditor in March 2012. While at OCA, Chris has led audit teams covering a variety of topics including the cost effectiveness of firefighter overtime, the importance of workforce planning for lifeguard services, the need for transparent reporting of utility undergrounding costs and the critical nature of city services such as pothole repair, repaving and street sweeping. As a Principal Performance Auditor, Chris has presented numerous times to the Audit Committee and the San Diego City Council. Prior experience includes conducting performance audits at the City of Dallas, providing technical assistance for the Head Start program as a Program Design and Management consultant and managing grants for the Texas Early Childhood Intervention program. Chris holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Internal Auditor.
