Legislative Platform
The Department of Government Affairs publishes an annual Legislative Platform that details the City's policy and legislative priorities. The document is drafted with input from the Mayor's Policy and Government Affairs staff, the City Council, City Attorney, Independent Budget Analyst, local partner agencies, and community stakeholders. It is presented each year in draft form at the City Council's Economic Development and Intergovernmental Affairs Committee (ED&IR) and approved by the City Council. The Legislative Platform includes the City's priority infrastructure, housing, transportation and public safety projects.
