One of the largest neighborhood libraries in San Diego, the Otay Mesa-Nestor Library reopened in 2006 following a $4.6 million expansion and renovation. The 15,000-square-foot facility features a large community room and conference room, a computer lab, reading alcoves and a peaceful outdoor space. The renovation came 20 years after the original library was dedicated in 1986 and allows the library to better accommodate an increasing number of patrons and services provided, including computer and internet access.
